Almost Home Pet Resort is a pet resort in the suburbs of Tampa. The facility is located at 514 N. Saint Cloud Ave, Valrico Florida 33594.

Over 6000 square feet of equipped space to provide overnight and long term boarding to all domestic pets, limited doggy daycare and grooming services.

Our indoor/ outdoor kennels provide fresh air and sunshine for our canines, our cozy cat condos keep our feline guests happy and safe, and our small furries, livestock, feathered friends and reptiles are welcomed. Our VIP suites are quiet, and guests get individual walks.  Originally established in 1992, I purchased the resort in September 2021. 

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8 am till 10 am and 3 pm till 5 pm. Saturday from 9 am till noon. Special appointments available by request.

Services

Overnight and Longterm Boarding

Overnight boarding service is offered for dogs, cats, birds, small furries, livestock, and reptiles. Safe comfortable sleeping quarters, large outdoor play yards, quality diets, and also available to oversee special medical needs. No breed restrictions, no meet and greet necessary, no required spay/neuter. Ask us about longterm boarding for pets should a safe place become necessary. A 15% percent discount for overnight stays longer than 10 nights. small dogs-$35 per night, medium dogs $40 per night, and large dogs are $45 per night. Cats are $15 per night, other animals start at $10 per night and rise depending on requirements. Add on services are available: Extra walks/playtime, swimming in the inground pool, texting photos are available for $10 fee per add on. Free bath after the 5th overnight stay.

Doggy Daycare

Designed to provide a day full of fun. Dogs arrive from 8 am and stay till 5 pm. During the day there are playtimes in the playyards, quiet time, and of course lots of snacks. Daycare helps socialize, exercise, and housetrain our dogs. Full day rates of $20.00 and half days are $10.00.

Baths

Bathing services are offered by appointment. Rates start at $30-$75. Call for details. Basic Bath with nail trim is $30.00 Bath for large long haired dogs is $75.00 Cat grooming is not available at this time.
